Lana paper mills origin dates back to 1590, when it was founded by master paper maker Demenge Harlachol. The current paper mill is set up on the banks of the Muhlwasser in Strasbourg, France. The high-quality water supplied by the deep wells provides optimum conditions to produce excellent paper.
Lana Calligraphie 250 gsm is designed specifically for all techniques of calligraphy. Its special surface sizing allows very sharp details. The paper is acid-free, aging resistant and extremely smooth surface, allowing the drawing of very well-defined strokes.
Lana Calligraphy is manufactured using finest quality standards made from 100% virgin cellulose fibres guarantees an excellent shelf life and its thick base allows wet techniques.
Ideal for pen & ink and graphite. Suitable for use with pencils, calamus, gouache and watercolour.
