Lana paper mills origin dates back to 1590, when it was founded by master paper maker Demenge Harlachol. The current paper mill is set up on the banks of the Muhlwasser in Strasbourg, France. The high-quality water supplied by the deep wells provides optimum conditions to produce excellent paper.
Lana Dessin is a natural white paper with a light grain / slightly matt surface which makes every stroke of your pencil a real pleasure. Gelatine and surface bonded, it makes gluing and retouching operations so much easier to perform and the various weights available mean that you can choose the paper which best suits your own needs.
Lana Dessin is manufactured without optical brighteners, is free of chlorine and acid. It is Archival / age resistant.
Ideal for use with pencil, red chalk, black lead, pastel, crayons, chalk, felt pen, ink, charcoal and chalk. Also good for watercolour, gouache and acrylics for the highest grammage.
